The Boat Song – India Celebrating ONAM

Aashish Rego, Justin-Uday Duo and the team have created a unique Onam song in just 72 hours (composed, recorded and shot) and released on 30 Aug 2020.

Onam is an annual holiday and festival celebrated in KeralaIndia. It is also a harvest festival celebrated by all Keralites irrespective of religion, whose date is based on the Hindu Panchangam and falls on the 22nd Nakshatra Thiruvonam in the Malayalam calendar month of Chingam.
The Boat Song is energetic, funky, melodious and catchy to the audience. The composers of the song told TPT News that they always wanted to create an Onam song which easily connects to the entire nation.
When you hear the song you will notice that even though the song has a South Indian music but also sung in Rajasthani and few other languages.
